Years Fishing?
I started fishing in my early childhood through my father. After a long break I started fishing only with the fly and combined it with my second passion photography

Can you tell us a little about your home waters and the fish you pursue there?
I live in Schliersee, in the deepest bay of Bavaria 60 km south of Munich. This area has many small to medium sized streams where special species of brown touts live

What’s the height of the season for you? What time of year is your personal favourite?
Of course this is spring when the season starts after the winter break. I love the warm summer evenings when I’m in the creek, surrounded by rising flies

What are your favourite travel destinations? What’s on the bucket list?
The list is infinitely long. of course there are Seychelles or south America listed but the most important thing is always to spend a good and unforgettable time with friends

What do you like most about Thomas and Thomas rods? Which rods do you fish?
I like the high-quality workmanship down to the smallest detail.
Clearly the Avantt 864-4, an all-round talent in my small home-waters.

What’s your current go-to fly?
I do not have any. I always adapt these to the given and whimsy.
